Procedure

Add water to an appropriate vessel and begin mixing with an overhead mixer. With rapid mixing, add Elfacos GT 282S and heat to 75°C until fully dissolved. Cool batch to 50°C and add the Elfan AT 84 G surfactant, mixing thoroughly. Add Standapol ES-2, AE Sulfosuccinate, and Crodateric CAB 30, mixing well between each addition. Add Flexan II polymer slowly and allow to fully disperse. Add next 8 ingredients in order, with mixing. Adjust pH to 5.0 to 6.0 with sodium hydroxide solution.

Properties

pH—5.0–6.0; Viscosity—7,000 – 11,000 cPs Brookfield RV 4 @ 10 rpm (measured after 1 minute); Appearance—Clear.
